The Poetry of Concrete

The art collector Claudia Pena is apparently a very lucky woman. Some 20 years ago, against her will, her husband had star architect Alberto Kalach design a dream house of pure concrete to be built on the grounds of a golf course.  The convoluted, chopped up mega sculpture offers surprising and spectacular inside and outside views and vistas. The man from back then is now her ex-husband. Ms. Pena remains with her three sons in the house with which she long ago made more than her peace. And not just because the concrete walls provide a perfect backdrop for her collection of vivid modern art.
