The Art of Slowing Down

When the architect Emmanuel Picault and his partner Martin Michaelis need a quiet break from Mexico City, they head for the countryside near Santa Catalina. Two hours away from the hustle and bustle of the Mexican capital, Picault created a very special country house. Without doors and windows. Very slowly built, one stone on top of the other. Each wall was planned only after the previous wall had been completed. An open oasis of peace and quiet. Unless, of course, a crowd has been invited to one of the hosts‘ legendary three-day parties.
